In the poorest part of the town of Bitola, at the foot of Baba Mountain in the southern part of the Republic of Macedonia the school Gorgi Sugarev lies, where the SB Foundation supports the Hand to Hand project, “Give a Child a Chance”. Therefore 350 pupils, many of them Romanies, get breakfast when they come to school, making them motivated to come to school as well as giving them the force to benefit from the teaching.
The Foundation was established in 1995 and works completely voluntary on a Christian ecumenical basis with aid in different countries. Collected funds are invested (with only 2% deduction for adminis-trative costs) in practical aid projects.
